The Eco-Truck 4 cylinders Land Cruiser BJ fueled by Bio-Diesel
Basics: This vehicle will be built as an addition to the OEX training fleet. It is designed to drive the most challenging terrain available in the world, do so in some comfort and safety, provide a sleeping/camping facility, and operate with minimal environmental impact. The vehicle will be running bio-diesel. This combined with a turbo 4 cylinder engine and gross weight should keep fuel consumption very low.

Turbo Intercooled Diesel- ~220 HP - 300ft torque Fuel-- Bio-Diesel - projected fuel consumption of 30 MPG highway Wheelbase-- Changed to 100in Suspension-- Coilover conversion for max articulation. Sway-bars with disconnects Lift-- 3 inch suspension and 4 inch body (low center of gravity) Transmission-- Ford C6 broad range automatic, manual Vacuum Transfercase-- Stock Land Cruiser Splitter Case-- Ford 205 Two Speed Differential-- Stock 4:88 with Factory Electronic Lockers Tires-- 38/ 15.50-16 Winch-- 10,000lbs Prototype test unit front and rear Lights-- Front and rear spot - flood - pencil, under carriage floods Power-- Duel batteries- engine bay, duel batteries - bed unit, high-output alternator. Custom-- Front and rear bumpers, extensive underbody aluminum skid plates, extended range fuel tanks (60 gal), rock sliders, corner roof sliders---just to name a few. Computer-- This system has been in design by OEX for 6 years now and will allow for satellite. phone and true computer navigation systems, OBD2 connection, weather station, etc. Touch screen water proof mobile removable unit with LAN network to vehicle. Cup Holder-- Advance holding unit for hot caffeinated beverages!
